ROAD CLOSINGS AND TRAFFIC ADVISORIES

THE FOLLOWING ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016

Esposito Street (from Iroquois Street to Seal Avenue) will be closed to through traffic beginning Thursday, Jan. 21 – Friday, Oct. 28.  This closure will be in effect 24 hours-a-day.    -posted 2/23/16   -updated 9/26/16

Water Street (from Main Street to Maycock Street) will be closed to through traffic beginning Thursday, Sept. 22 – Wednesday, Sept. 28.  This closure will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.   -posted 9/21/16v

Division Street & Lee Street Intersection will be closed to through traffic from Monday, Sept. 12 – Friday, Sept. 30.  This closure will be in effect 24 hours a day.    -posted 9/21/16

Easy Lane (north off Cedar Lake Road) will have intermittent lane closures beginning Thursday, Aug. 25 to allow crews to install sewer mains under the roadway.  Lane closures are expected to be in effect during weekdays (Monday – Friday) during the hours of 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. for approximately three to four weeks.  This short residential street is narrow, so please use caution while construction proceeds in this area.  Intermittent driveway access, but no driveway closures, for residents and emergency vehicles has been discussed with the construction contractor(s) and inspectors for this sewer project.     -posted 7/22/16    -updated 8/24/16

Hudson-Krohn Road (from Old Hwy 67 to Biloxi City Limits) will have one lane closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, Aug. 2 to allow utility work.  This closure is expected to be in effect during the work week (Monday – Friday) during working hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) for approximately three months.  Flaggers will be present to help direct traffic.   -posted 6/24/16   -updated 8/2/16

Holly Bluff Circle will have intermittent one lane closures beginning Thursday, July 28 to allow crews to install sewer mains. This one lane closure is expected to be in effect during weekdays for approximately two to three months.  Flaggers may be present to direct motorists along or around lane closures; please use caution when driving through the work zones.    -posted 7/27/16

Division Street (from Porter Avenue to Hopkins Boulevard) will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, March 21st until further notice.  This closure will be in effect 24 hours each day until completion.   -posted 3/17/16    -updated 7/19/16

Cedar Lake Road (between I-10 to Spring Lane) can expect intermittent lane shifts beginning Tuesday, July 19 – Saturday, Oct. 15 for paving work.  Please use caution while traveling through the work zones.   -posted 7/18/16

Popp’s Ferry Road (between Cedar Lake Road and Lamey Street) can expect intermittent lane shifts while crews continue to pave then route traffic along new lanes.  No detours are planned, but orange traffic cones and barrels will mark shifts of travel lanes and work areas.  Weather permitting, paving work can be expected for the next few months.  Please use caution while traveling through the work zones.  In advance, thank you for your patience and cooperation during this roadway widening project.   -posted 7/13/16

Back Bay Boulevard (between Holley Street and Crawford StreetThis section of roadway is now opened to all through traffic. At times, we may have it closed down to one (1) lane of traffic.   -posted 1/13/16  -updated 5/5/16

Magnolia Street and Bradford Street (North of Division Street) will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, March 21 – Thursday, March 24(reopen for the holiday) and will close again starting March 28 until completion of gas main.   -posted 3/22/16

Meadows Avenue on Keesler AFB at the Forrest Avenue Intersection will be changing from two lanes each way to three lanes entering the base and one lane exiting beginning Monday, Jan. 25.  This change will be in effect Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. – 8 a.m. until further notice.  Keesler-bound drivers are asked to not us DeSoto Street in order to bypass traffic.    -posted 1/19/16
