ROAD CLOSINGS AND TRAFFIC ADVISORIES

THE FOLLOWING ARE SUBJECT TO

Thursday, July 2, 2015

Esters Boulevard (between Nichols Drive and Holley Street) will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Monday July 6th through Monday, July 27th .

Jim Money Road will have intermittent one lane closures beginning Monday, July 6th while crews begin removing (milling) the old asphalt to prepare the road for new asphalt.  Weather permitting, removal work and paving should be completed in two to three weeks.

Iberville Drive will have intermittent one lane closures beginning Wednesday, July 1st while crews begin removing (milling) old asphalt to prepare the road for new asphalt.  Weather permitting, removal work and paving should be completed in two to three weeks.

Diaz Avenue (between Bayview Avenue and Bayshore Avenue) will be closed to through traffic beginning Friday, May 24th through Tuesday, June 30th.

Woolmarket Road (from Shriners Blvd to Lorraine Road) will have intermittent one lane closures beginning Monday, June 1st while crews begin overlaying the road with asphalt.  Weather permitting, asphalt paving work should be completed in four to six weeks.

Esters Boulevard (between Delauney Street and Main Street) will be closed through traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Friday, May 22nd through Tuesday, June 30th .

Elder Street (between Caillavet Street and Reynoir Street) will be closed through traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Wednesday, May 20th through Tuesday, June 30th.

Old Highway 67 (from Wren Place, south to Woolmarket Road) will have intermittent one lane closures beginning Monday, May 11th while crews begin installing sewer mains along the south bound lane of said portion of Old Hwy 67.  Weather permitting, the sewer main work along Old Highway 67 should be completed in six to eight weeks.

 Larkin Drive (in Woolmarket) will have intermittent one-lane closures beginning Monday, March 16th while crews install sewer mains and services.   Weather permitting, work should be completed in three to four months.

BAYVIEW AVENUE (BETWEEN HOLLEY STREET AND CRAWFORD STREET) is permanently closed until further notice.

 

 

MAPLE STREET (FROM 7TH STREET SOUTH) will have ongoing work which will cause traffic to detour to the East and West on 7th Street. Also a portion of 6th Street will be closed beginning Monday, January 14th until the end of December.

NORTH CONTRACT PROJECT Utility replacement and roadway repair work will begin in this area in mid 2014 and continue until late 2017, expect intermittent lane closures on the following street:

7th Street

8th Street

HOSPITAL PHASES 1 & 2 PROJECT Utility replacement and roadway repair work will continue in this area until late 2014, expect intermittent lane closures on the following streets:

EAGLE POINT PHASE 1 PROJECT Utility replacement and roadway repair work will begin in early 2014 in this area and continue until mid 2015, expect intermittent lane closures on the following streets:
