ROAD CLOSINGS

ALL ROAD CLOSINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER OR UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Traffic Advisories

 

IRIS ST. FROM LAWRENCE ST. TO TODD COVE will be closed through Monday, March 15 for drainage improvements.

 

MDOT ALERT:  HWY. 49 FROM COMMUNITY RD. TO DEDEAUX RD. ALL DIRECTIONS INSIDE LANES – There will be construction on the barrier wall/divider already in progress and going through Wednesday, March 31st.  If possible, please use an alternate route during peak times.

 

INTERSECTION OF BRODIE RD. & DARIUS DR.  closure has been extended through Sunday, March 28th as part of the Brodie Rd. construction project.  Barricades and detour signs will be present.

 

ESTERS BLVD. FROM LEE ST. TO ALEXANDER AVE. WESTBOUND LANE will be closed through Monday, March 15th for installation of new storm drain.

 

ESTERS BLVD. & JEFFERSON ST. INTERSECTION & TO THE CURVE ON JEFFERSON ST.  is closed through Monday, March 15th for installation of new storm drain.

 

BRODIE RD. FROM HENGEN LANE TO DESTINY WAY will be completely closed through Monday, March 15th.   Flagmen and detour signs are present.  Please avoid this area if at all possible as only the residents and school bus will be allowed.

BRODIE ROAD will be closed to through traffic for the duration of that reconstruction project which will be approximately fourteen (14) months (November 2010).  Signs and flagmen will be present.  Residents are urged to drive with extra caution.  More specific closures will be announced as they occur.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

MDOT ALERT:  EASTBOUND I-10 FROM 609 TO I-110 ALL DIRECTIONS INSIDE LANES & EXIT RAMP  Overall construction project to add additional lanes will be ongoing through December 2010.  More specific information will be posted as it occurs.  Please drive with extra caution in these areas.
