This week the Community Development Department issued 49 building permits including one for the construction of a new parking lot for the Hard Rock Casino/Hotel. The parking lot is to be located on the former Windjammer Condominium property.
Also this week, we received the building plans for the Beau Rivage’ Clinic to be relocated to their engineering building in preparation for the start of construction on the New Baseball Stadium.
We also received the structural and build out plans for the Kress Building for their new music venture, and plans for 3 new single family houses.
The Development Review Committee reviewed the plans for the South Beach Club Restaurant and Bar to be located on the south side of Beach Boulevard at Veterans Blvd.
The Architectural-Historical Review Commission reviewed and approved the design for the new Baseball Stadium.
Next Thursday, the Biloxi Planning Commission will consider an application from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Commission for the vacation of a 450’+ section of Oakwood Drive.
