RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, the City of Biloxi is installing an automated meter reading system to efficiently and effectively aid in the necessary day to day business of the City; and

WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies has submitted a Sales Quotation for a MUNIS Water Billing Modules; and

WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies/MUNIS is a Sole Source provider; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to add a MUNIS Water Billing Module, which is a new module, to the current MUNIS Financial System currently being utilized by the City; and

WHEREAS, the Water Billing Module offers software implementation and training for a fee of $136,025.00; and

WHEREAS, the Water Billing Module offers maintenance for a fee of $24,013.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI, THAT:

SECTION ONE: The findings, conclusions, and statements of fact contained in the foregoing preamble are hereby adopted, ratified, and incorporated herein.

SECTION TWO:  The Mayor and/or Municipal Clerk be and are hereby authorized to accept a Sales Quotation from Tyler Technologies for the purchase of  adding a MUNIS Water Billing Module, a new module, to the current MUNIS Financial System currently being utilized by the City

SECTION THREE:  The fees submitted by Tyler Technologies for the purchase of said module be and are hereby accepted.
