Your guide to Mardi Gras happenings in Biloxi

Saturday, Feb. 3: Biloxi Children’s Mardi Gras Walking Parade
The annual children’s parade, open to ages 12 and younger, will walk and roll downtown on Saturday at 10 a.m.  This year’s theme is “The Ride of Your Life” and celebrates history making rides.  The parade begins under the I-110 overpass on Howard Avenue, travels to Reynoir Street and turns south ending at the Mardi Gras Museum on Rue Magnolia. Sunday, Feb. 4: 2nd Annual Bow Wow Pawrade
The second annual Krewe of Barkloxi parade will prance around the Biloxi Town Green Sunday afternoon beginning at noon.  A four-legged king and queen will be crown and registration is a $10 donation per pet and $15 donation on event day.  For more information, call the Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce at 228-435-6149.

Friday, Feb. 9: Special Needs Mardi Gras Ball & Dance
All ages with physical and mental disabilities are invited to celebrate Mardi Gras by wearing green, yellow, and purple and enjoy snacks, door prizes and music spun by a local DJ for the free 6 to 9 p.m. ball and dance.  For more information and to view the flyer, click here.

Saturday, Feb. 10: Second Liners Mardi Gras Club Parade
The annual parade begins at noon and travels from the Dr. Frank G. Gruich Sr. Community on Howard Avenue west to Main Street, south to U.S. 90, west to Lameuse Street, north to MLK Jr., east to Main Street and north to Esters Boulevard ending at the Doris C. Saturday, Feb. 10: Neptune Mardi Gras Parade
The annual parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and travels from Main Street, south of the railway track, to U.S. 90, west to Lameuse Street, north to MLK Jr., west to Reynoir Street, west on Howard to Caillavet Street and ends on Caillavet Street near Bayview Avenue.  To see the parade route, click here.

Tuesday, Feb. 13: Gulf Coast Carnival Association Mardi Gras Parade
The annual parade begins at 1 p.m. and travels from the corner of Main Street and MLK Jr., south to U.S. 90, west to Lamuese Street, north to MKL Jr., west to Reynoir Street, south to U.S. 90, west on U.S. 90 to Porter Avenue, north to Howard Avenue and travel east ending on Caillavet Street.  To see the parade route, click here.
