Summer Movie Series event postponed

Organizers of the “Summer Movie Series,” the fun and games event with the showing of the movie “Moana” planned for tonight on the Biloxi Town Green, have decided to postpone the event until May 20 at Hiller Park because of the inclement weather.

The National Weather Service forecasts showers and thunderstorms through the early evening hours, with large amounts of rainfall producing ponding of water and possible damaging wind gusts.

Meantime, the multi-platinum international music sensation Celtic Women will present their Voices of Angels show at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, Smokey Robinson will be at the Beau Rivage and Bill Engvall at the IP Casino Resort.
