Biloxi Shuckers kick off General series Sunday

The Biloxi Shuckers began their next homestand versus the Jackson (Tenn.) Generals on Sunday.  Here’s a preview of the promotions for the series that continues through Wednesday:

Sunday: Military Salute Sunday, presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union. Discounted tickets are provided for active and retired military personnel with a valid ID. Shuckers players will be in military-themed jerseys throughout the game, and family four-packs are available every Sunday: four reserved-level seats and four Schooner’s Special vouchers, which are redeemable for a hot dog, chips and a drink, all for $60. Gates open at 3 p.m., and select Shuckers players will be on the concourse signing autographs before the game. Bring your glove to play catch on the field after the game. First pitch is 4:05 p.m.

Monday: Doggone Monday, presented by Raising Cane’s. Bring your pooch to the ballpark Monday for Doggone Monday. Buy a $7 Berm ticket and you and your canine can cheer on the Biloxi Shuckers as they take on the Jackson Generals. A pre-game pooch parade is planned. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.

Tuesday: Brew Crew Tuesday, presented by Miller Lite. The road to “the show” travels through the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and that means the Brew Crew is in Biloxi. Brew Crew Tuesday at MGM Park offers $3 Miller Lite, $4 Brats and other discounts. The Brewers’ Snack Attack special includes fried green tomatoes, onion rings, French fries, and, of course, Wisconsin cheese curds. Brewers prizes offered throughout the game through social media trivia games. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.

Wednesday: Summer Camp Day & Lunch Break Special. It’s a morning game. Stop in for lunch and enjoy some Biloxi Shuckers baseball at MGM Park.
