East Biloxi infrastructure discussion, Jan. 3, 2017

The three days of rain that fell in and around Biloxi from Dec. 31 to Jan. 2 — 5.8 inches according to Keesler’s weather office and 8.16 inches according to the National Weather Service — caused the predicted flooding of streets and low-lying areas in east Biloxi. The flooding also prompted a spirited discussion of the infrastructure issues on JZ 94.5’s “A New Day with Rip Daniels” on Jan. 3, 2017, featuring host Rip Daniels and the city’s Public Affairs manager.
