Last week, the Community Development Department reported issuing a Certificate of Occupancy for The Blind Tiger leading to the restaurant’s opening on Friday, Feb. 10.
The Biloxi restaurant, a waterside bar and grill located at the western end of the Harrah’s property south of U.S. 90 on Point Cadet, offers 3240-square feet including a covered patio and panoramic views of the Mississippi Sound. There is also a crosswalk that connects the restaurant to Harrah’s.
This is the second location for The Blind Tiger restaurant, with the original opening in 2013 in Bay St. Louis.
Meantime, numbers reported in the Biloxi Fire and Police Departments rose slightly. The Fire Department responded to 149 calls, including 100 medical emergencies and 5 fires, while the Police Department reported 2,720 calls for service, making 167 arrests.
