Halloween at Hiller Park, scheduled for 5:30 this afternoon, remains on schedule, according to the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
The free event, which will be at the Barbara Ferrill Softball Fields, is open to children ages 3 to 12.
Those interested should call 435-6148 or 435-6294 for confirmation before 5 p.m. In the event of rain, the event will be postponed to Tuesday.
Space walks will be set up and carnival games will be conducted between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Contest games will begin at 6:30 p.m. The games include the egg hunt for ages 3 to 5, broom stick race for ages 6 to 8, sack race for ages 9 to 10, and pumpkin race for 11 to 12. A costume contest will begin at 7 p.m.
