ROAD CLOSINGS

ALL ROAD CLOSINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER OR UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

 

 

Traffic Advisories:

 

 

JOHN LEE ROAD (BETWEEN LORRAINE ROAD AND WOOLMARKET ROAD NEAR WOOLMARKET SCHOOL) will be closed to thru traffic while crew are installing sanitary sewer pipe beginning Monday, February 6 through Friday, February 24. Traffic will be detoured along Woolmarket Road as an alternate route.

 

THOMAS STREET (NORTH SIDE OF HOWARD) will be closed from all traffic beginning Wednesday, February 8 through Wednesday, February 28 crews will be installing storm drain lines.

 

SCENIC RIVER DRIVE AND RIVER OAKS DRIVE will have intermittent lane closures while crews are installing sewer lines beginning Friday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 29 from 7 a.m. to

5 p.m.

 

Beginning Monday, January 23 at 7 a.m. through Friday, February 17 CSX will be working on the following railroad crossings Crawford Street, Dorries Street, Holley Street, Keller Avenue, Nixon Street, Lee Street, Lameuse Street, Delauney Street, Magnolia Street, Iroquois Street, Benachi Avenue, Rodenburg Avenue, and McDonnell Avenue. There will be intermittent lane closures at various times with crews directing traffic. 

 

FIFTH STREET between Oak Street and Maple Street will be closed beginning Tuesday, January 3 for      pavement removal.  All traffic will be directed to detour to Fourth Street.

 

LANDING COURT AND PARKERS CREEK sewer installation will begin being installed Monday, December 05 through Wednesday, February 29, 2012. There will be one lane closure and intermittent delays while workers are present.

 

POPPS FERRY CAUSEWAY will be closed north of the bridge to all traffic this will also include the boat ramp beginning Monday, September 26 through June 2012.
