The Community Development Department issued 34 permits with a total valuation of a little over $11 million last week. Building permits included the conversion of the former Santa Maria Del Mar apartment structure into the Watermark Hotel as well as for a new sales and service building for Camping World RV Center, located at the southeast corner of Shriners Boulevard and I-10.
Meantime, the Biloxi Police Department reported 2046 calls for service, making 126 arrests. The Fire Department report is not available.
