The Summer Playground program is an eight to nine week program which begins one week after Biloxi Public Schools let out for the summer. The program ends one week before children begin the new school year.
Sites are Jeff Davis, Lopez, Mercy Cross, North Bay, North Woolmarket, Woolmarket, and Popps Ferry schools, upon approval.

Children have the opportunity to attend field trips along the Gulf Coast, participate in arts & crafts and organized games.

This program is open to all children ages 5 - 14.  All five year olds must have completed kindergarten.

Teen camp is for ages 12 - 14 and for children with physical and mental disabilites.

Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extended care, Latch Key, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

                                       

 

PROGRAM FEES                                                          

Biloxi resident:                $10 registration fee

                                           $40 weekly fee for first child, $20 for each additional child

                                           $50 field trip fee per child - One time cost

                                           $50 latch keey fee per child - One time cost

Non-Biloxi residents:      $20 registration fee

                                           $50 weekly fee for first child, $25 for each additional child

                                           $50 field trip fee per child - One time cost

                                           $50 latch keey fee per child - One time cost

1) Proof of residency

2) Social security numbers

3) Two emergency contact numbers

4) List of those who can pick child/children up

5) Health insurance information

6) Health information on child/children

REGISTRATION

• Registration is usually held in April of each year.
