Fishing for Catfish Kids Day in Biloxi - October 2010
The City of Biloxi Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Wildlife and Fisheries, will host Fishing for Catfish Kids Day on Saturday, October 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hiller Park Pond.
All kids age 15 and younger are invited to bring their tackle, cooler and fishing string to the Hiller Park Pond, located in Hiller Park at 380 Hiller Drive, to enjoy a morning of fishing! Door prizes will be given away for tagged fishes caught as well as awards for the largest fish, smallest fish, ugliest fish, and the most unusual fish caught. Bait will be provided to all the kids who will be fishing.
Interested participants may register the day of the event from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Lunch will also be provided to the participants.
