THE CITY OF BILOXI HOLDS LIFEGUARD TRAINING CLASS
The City of Biloxiís Aquatic Division will hold a Lifeguard Training Class beginning Monday, March 5 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Biloxi Natatorium, 1384 Father Ryan Avenue.
The class will begin with a pretest held on, Monday, March 5 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, March 6 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Participants must choose one of the two days to take the pretest which consists of a 300 yard swim and a 10 pound brick retrieval in 10 feet of water. Once the participants pass the pretest, they may enroll in the class that begins Wednesday, March 7 and pay a $75 fee which covers the CPR materials.
To enroll in the Lifeguard Training class, participants must be 15 years of age or older and pass the pretest.
All classes are taught by certified American Red Cross instructors.
