Special Populations

Special Populations

The Special Populations section of the Recreation Division provides year round activities to individuals of all ages with mental and physical disabilities.  Current programs include Challenger League Baseball, Miracle on the Court Basketball and Sun Camp.  Other programs that are being developed include soccer and monthly activities.

The Parks and Recreation Department is constantly planning and implementing numerous activities and programs.  The Department starves to be an inclusive program and all events and dances are to open to people with and without disabilities.

Special Needs Basketball Games

Thursdays: 5:30 p.m. - Youth Division

6:30 p.m. - Adult Division

Saturdays: 10 a.m. - All ages

Hiller Park Armory

Open to youths and adults with physical and mental disabilites.

Admission is free.
