Police, Keesler security gather for prayer service

About three dozen members of the Biloxi Police Department and representatives of the military police at Keesler gathered today on the steps of the Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center to answer the call for prayer from Dallas Police Chief David Brown.

Pastor Lindsey Robinson of St. Paul United Methodist Church offered a prayer and called for support, unity and respect during the six-minute service, sparked by police shootings Thursday in Dallas.

Said Biloxi Police Chief John Miller: “The members of the Biloxi Police Department and, I believe, all the people of Biloxi answer the call and stand in solidarity with the men and women in the Dallas Police Department, with the people of Dallas.”
