See the dinosaurs Saturday on the Town Green

The City of Biloxi and Friends of Hiller Park have teamed up with Navy Federal Credit Union to host an outdoor family movie night on the Town Green on Saturday.

Beginning at 6 p.m. families will be able to fill the green space with lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy activities such as inflatables and face painting in anticipation for the 8 p.m. airing of Jurassic World.

“It is always rewarding when an organization thinks of hosting their events in Biloxi”, Parks and Recreation Director Cheryl Bell said. “It lets me know that Biloxi is being recognized for its recreational opportunities, parks and facilities.”

The Friends of Hiller Park will set up concessions for snowballs, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, nachos and refreshments.  Their proceeds will benefit the ongoing revitalization efforts for Hiller Park.

The free family movie night event is part of the Navy Federal Credit Union’s campaign to be actively involved in the communities it serves. The Navy Federal Credit Union is the world’s largest credit union and serves all Departments of Defense military and civilian personnel and their families.
