Holiday weekend fare: Family fun, music and more

West End Hose Co. No. 3 has a weekend of family fun on the Town Green, with a “Jump Into Summer” festival. You’ll find bounce houses, food, carnival games, and, of course, big red fire trucks and real-live firefighters. It all happens Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meantime, music fills the weekend: Abbacadabra, the ultimate Abba Tribute Band headlines a free, two-day concert on the Harrah’s Great Lawn, Weird Al Yankovic brings his Mandatory World Tour to the Hard Rock, and Jerry Jeff Walker plays the IP

You can also expect to see motorcyclists galore throughout the weekend, with the big Mississippi Gulf Coast Memorial Day Blowout taking place at the Gulfport Dragway, off Canal Road.
