Expect heavy traffic by land and air Saturday

The Keesler Air Show and Open House, with the headlining Air Force Thunderbirds, is expected to attract at least 160,000 people to Biloxi this weekend, so police are reminding motorists to be careful on Biloxi’s major thoroughfares.

Satellite parking for the Keesler event — which begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday — will primarily be at Oak Park, which is at the end of Kensington Drive, off Bayview Avenue. Keesler will provide free shuttle service from that site throughout the day, and from Treasure Bay (from south of U.S. 90) beginning at noon both days.
