This week in economic development, the Development Review Committee reviewed a site plan for South Beach East. South Beach East will add an additional 60 units to the existing South Beach Condotel, located on the south side of Beach Boulevard next to Sharkheads. The DRC also reviewed a proposal for the expansion of the Water Street Apartments. The proposed expansion will add an additional 32 apartment units to the existing complex. Also, building plans were submitted this week for 2 new single family homes.
