This week in community development, the Development Review Committee approved site plans for a new sanctuary for St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Woolmarket Road, and an addition to the Biloxi Natatorium on Father Ryan Avenue. The new church sanctuary will be 10,280 square feet and will seat approximately 300 members. The addition to the west side of the Natatorium will add increased restroom facilities, a canopy, fencing and landscaping.
Also this week, building plans were received for 4 new single family houses, and the certificate of occupancy was issued for Jimmy John’s Restaurant on Pass Road at Beauvoir. A temporary certificate of occupancy was issued for Baachus Restaurant at Beach Boulevard and Caillavet Street pending the completion of their deck.
