This week in economic development our department issued the building permit for the
New Walmart Neighborhood Market, a $4.2 million dollar project to be located on Pass
Road just west of Our Lady of Fatima Church. This retail grocery store will be over 41,000
square feet and will have an in-house pharmacy. Also, a building permit was issued this
week for the new $458,000 dollar Steak and Shake restaurant to be located inside the
Grand Casino. New home permits were also issued for two new houses at Mill Creek
valued at $280,000 and $250,000.
The Development Review Committee met on Wednesday and approved site plans for
T & E Salvage and a new office for Peacock Construction.
