Council to meet Tuesday afternoon

Biloxi City Council members face an agenda of nearly three dozen items when they meet on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at City Hall.

Among the issues are monthly fees for slips at Point Cadet Marina and the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor, which will go into effect once electricity is restored at both facilities; approval of engineering contracts for the Point Cadet and Back Bay fishing bridges; equipment purchases for the Biloxi Police Department; and a request for $50,000 to install surveillance cameras in Ward 2.

The meeting will also have the first reading of a proposal from Mayor A.J. Holloway regarding the city’s pending annexation case.
