RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, on March 7, 2012 bids were received for Project No. K3120, Kuhn Street Pier & Boat Launch; and

WHEREAS, K. R. Borries Construction Company submitted the lowest and best bid in the amount of $293,073.00; and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of Richard Sullivan, Director of Public Works, and Damon Torricelli, City Engineer, to accept said bid and award a contract to K. R. Borries Construction Company, for Project No. K3120, Kuhn Street Pier & Boat Launch. 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI, THAT:

SECTION ONE: The findings, conclusions, and statements of fact contained in the foregoing preamble are hereby adopted, ratified, and incorporated herein.

SECTION TWO: The Mayor and/or Municipal Clerk be and are hereby authorized to accept the bid submitted by K. R. Borries Construction Company, in the amount of $293,073.00 for Project No. K3120, Kuhn Street Pier & Boat Launch.

SECTION THREE: The Mayor and/or Municipal Clerk be and are hereby authorized to enter into and execute the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit “A”, with K. R. Borries Construction Company and any and all documents necessary to begin work on Project No. K3120, Kuhn Street Pier & Boat Launch.
