WHEREAS, State of Mississippi Contract #5-200-21231-12 authorizes the purchase of Turnout Gear; and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of David Roberts, Director of the Fire Department, to purchase Twenty-four Nomex Hoods and Nineteen 14" Supreme Boots from Sunbelt Fire in the total amount of $6,620.00; and

WHEREAS, funding for the above purchase is shown in the 2011/12 FY Fire Department Budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI, THAT:

The purchase of Twenty-four Nomex Hoods and Nineteen 14" Supreme Boots from Sunbelt Fire in the total amount of $6,620.00 as authorized by State of Mississippi Contract #5-200-21231-12 is hereby approved and that this Resolution shall be spread on the minutes of the City Council.
