City recognizes employees for longevity

The City of Biloxi recognized a host of employees for longevity during the June 21 city council meeting.

Those recognized were:

40 years of service: Glenda Carmel, Police Department

35 years of service: Mary Cruthirds, Parks and Recreation Department; and Jasna Yenewine, Public Works Department

25 years of service: Woody Alexander and John McDonnell, Public Works Department; and Al Hampton, Fire Department

20 years of service: Willie Washington, Public Works Department

15 years of service: Tara Brown and Cecilia Dobbs Walton, Administration Department; James Payton and Tommy Searight, Parks and Recreation; Jenneth Roberts, Engineering Department; and Demetrius Shockley, Public Works Department

10 years of service: Kristopher Hines, Police Department

5 years of service: O’neil Adams and April Thompson, Police Department; Arthur Baker, Public Works Department; Jeffrey Harbour, Community Development; and Robert Robertson, Administration (Port)
