City issues RFQ, seeks engineers for infrastructure work

The City of Biloxi on Nov. 4 began inviting engineering firms to respond to a “Request for Qualifications” for the design of projects involved in the city’s $355 million infrastructure work.

“We’re getting calls from dozens of firms from throughout the state and region,” said City Engineer Damon Torricelli. “What we’re doing at this point is asking for background information and qualifications on all of the firms interested in taking part in this project. After the review process, we’ll look at how we’ll break up the work.”

Deadline for submissions is Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. CST.
