City Hall open Saturday for absentee balloting

City Hall will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon for absentee voting to be conducted for the May 12 runoff election for mayor, according to Municipal Clerk Stacy Thacker.

Absentee votes also may be cast Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall, which is at 140 Lameuse St., and next Saturday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Absentee balloting is for eligible voters who are unable to be at the polls on election day.
